Sunlife Philippines adds more service centers

MANILA, Nov. 9 (PNA) -- In order to provide its customers with more accessible service, Sun Life Financial-Philippines (SLFP) has added more service facilities right at the malls, located at the Sun Life Money Hub in Trinoma in Quezon City and at the SM South Mall in Las Pinas City.

"Malling is one of the favorite past times of Filipinos these days and it is a fact that most, if not all, of our policyholders and investors are also mall goers. It would be an added convenience for them to just pay their life insurance or pre-need premiums or inquire about their policies or any of our products right then and there, instead of going to Sun Life offices which could be far from their residences or from where they work," SLFP vice-president for alternative distribution Cyril Flores said.

Flores pointed out that lockboxes were recently installed in these money hubs so that payment of premiums could be done through self-service. Similar to using the bank ATMs, transactions could be done by just pressing the right keys for the required service for premium payments either for life insurance or pre-need policies.

Credit card payments with prior credit card number approval and Variable Universal Life payments with accompanying deposit slips from depositing banks are also accepted at the hub.

"In addition to these services, the money hubs are also open for inquiries regarding the Sun Life Prosperity Funds, the biggest family of mutual funds in the country. Interested patrons may invest right at the hub, either through cash or check," Flores said.

According to Flores, the provision of new service facilities now completes the idea of having a "one-stop- shop" at the money hubs allowing prospective and existing clients to be immediately served whether they are paying their premiums, inquiring about or purchasing any of Sun Life’s products, in just one stop.

The Sun Life money hubs are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.
