Telecom giant boosts Nueva Ecija’s business potential
CABANATUAN
CITY, Nueva Ecija, March 12 (PNA) -– A telecommunication giant has
affirmed the economic viability of this city as a business hub of Nueva
Ecija.
During the recent launching of a business fair dubbed as
“Negostar Fair here,” Manny Aligada, Globe company executive, said that
the telecommunication service provider would want to be part of boosting
the business spirit of the city by showcasing its products and services
designed for small and medium enterprises.
“That’s true, Cabanatuan has a lot of potentials," Aligada
said as it was ratified by the volume of people that participated in the
business fair.
In the activity, Globe Business Corporate and Small Medium
Enterprise (SME) introduced a number of the so-called “pang-negosyo”
products and services that include BiZMax prepaid SIM, designed with
specific tools and features for businessmen; Biz Online which helps
businessmen to create their own website in five easy steps; and Business
Plus, a mobile subscription with unlimited talk and texting features.
Kenny Bansale, president of the Nueva Ecija Chamber of
Commerce and Industry (NECCI) led fellow businessmen in attending the
event in search for latest communication tools that would give them the
advantage in their respective industries.
Members and officers of the newly-organized Nueva Ecija
Association of Tourism Stakeholders led by their president Joel Cocueco
also joined the fair in an apparent effort to further the group’s goal
of uplifting local tourism industry.
Nueva Ecija, though known as the rice granary of Central
Luzon, has been reputed to be home of intense political rivalries.
But local entrepreneurs have been trying to reshape such
image by venturing into several activities that promote the province’s
economic viability. (PNA)
