PIAC, RPMO evaluate Kapit Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan's implemention
BACOLOD
CITY, July 4 (PNA) -- The Provincial Inter-Agency Committee (PIAC) and
the Regional Project Management Office on Wednesday met at the
Technology and Livelihood Development Center in Negros Occidental to
evaluate the project implementation and address present issues of the
Kapit Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery
of Social Services: Kapangyarihan and Kaunlaran sa Barangay
(KALAHI-CIDSS: KKB) in the province.
The
PIAC is an inter-agency committee that coordinates, review, and resolve
issues related in the implementation of the KALAHI-CIDSS: KKB Project
in the province.
Its
members include the Governor of Negros Occidental as the chairperson,
the Provincial Social Welfare Development Officer (PSWDO), Provincial
Planning and Development Officer (PPDO), Provincial Agricultural
Officer (PAO), Provincial Engineer, Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer
(PARO), Provincial Director of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial
Office,
SP
for Social Welfare Services, Provincial Health Officer (PHO),
Provincial Treasurer, SP for Appropriation, Provincial Budget Officer,
Provincial Environment and Natural Resource Officer (PENRO), Provincial
Local Government Operation Officer (PLGOO) and the Representatives of
the office of Congressmen in Negros Occidental.
Present in the meeting were representatives from the KALAHI-CIDSS (KC) regional office.
As one of KC’s partners, NOPPO director Police Senior Superintendent Manuel Felix also extended his support to the project.
He
assured that the PNP in Negros Occidental will do its best in
delivering quality service and assistance to the implementers of
KALAHI-CIDSS: KKB.
Governor Isidro Zayco and other local officials also attended the meeting. (PNA)
