The

Lagdameo
also shelled out P350,000 to pay for the general admission fee of some
7,000 students from various public schools in Carmen.
In
appreciating the exhibit, Carmen Mayor Marcelino A. Perandos told the
students that immense learning opportunity is a stone-throw away,
stressing that by exploring S&T gadgets it would help them gain
better understanding of science.
"Kaning mga butanga wala sa among panahon, (we don't have these things during our time)," the mayor said in his speech.
He
hoped that the exhibit would "tickle" the minds of the students to
further explore their surroundings and someday become scientists.
Some
of the S&T gadgets on display are the anti-gravity mirror,
Archimedes' Screw, Bicycle gear, bone stress, colored shadows, eddy
current brake and current disc, finger tingler, flashing pendulum,

some of the gadgets are from the Philippine Science Centrum in Manila
which has been organizing the Science-on-the-Move while the rest are
from the MSTCF.
After
the one-week exhibit in Carmen, Davao del Norte, the S&T gadgets
